These two weeks have brought plenty of hockey and an afternoon to remember at Catalònia HC. Alongside matches, training and familiar faces, Pau Negre became the setting for a very special Halloween. On Friday, October 30, Zona Infectada gave the club a brilliant afternoon full of scares and fun. Our homegrown haunted attraction showed just how much work and enthusiasm had gone into it.

Thank you to the parents who organised it and to the club’s youth players, who did an incredible job helping out. Preparing everything and bringing the characters to life took a huge effort, and the result was a Halloween celebration in style. Thank you too to everyone brave enough to enter. We hope the scares stayed at Pau Negre and nobody had nightmares!

On the pitch, the first teams continue to offer plenty of encouragement. The Women’s First Team are competing very well in their debut Superlliga Catalana campaign, underlined by a 1–0 win over Club Egara. The Men’s First Team are also enjoying a very positive run and a highly competitive season. Their 2–1 win against HC Sant Cugat was another reward for a group that keeps moving forward.

In the women’s Segona competition, Blau beat Egara 4–1 and Taronja drew 1–1 away at AD Rimas. The men’s Segona B sides have faced demanding rounds and keep working towards their next fixtures.

In the Academy, the Girls’ Cadet Team won 2–1 away at CD Terrassa B, while the Girls’ Infantil Team also beat Castelldefels B. Encouraging news for groups that keep learning and growing together. The Boys’ Cadet Team beat Castelldefels 3–2, and the Boys’ Infantil Team won 6–3 against the same club. Two welcome wins during a busy spell for the youth section.

The Boys’ Aleví Team also won, beating Canigó-Viaró 6–3, while the mixed Benjamí Team recorded a 2–0 victory over ATHC Negre. Beyond the scores, thank you to our coaches and families for supporting every training session and every match.

Hoquei+ Blau earned a narrow 4–3 away win at Iluro. The Women’s Masters +40 also celebrated a good result, winning 7–3 against Girona Sticks. Among the Mamis, 7x7 Blau drew 1–1 with Matadepera 88 La Mola during a demanding spell for the 7x7 and 9x9 teams too.

We finish these two weeks eager to get back on the pitch, with special thanks to everyone who made Zona Infectada possible. What a Halloween we had!
