What a weekend!
Weekend recap of April 18–19, 2026 at Catalònia HC, with the men’s team securing safety, the women’s team dominating and the Sant Jordi tournament.

What a weekend! Catalònia HC experienced a weekend full of emotions, achieved goals and moments that define the club.
The Men’s First Team secured a last-minute draw against the best team of the second half of the season, a point that is worth gold and that guarantees mathematical safety. A match that could have been won, but one that proves the character of a team that has now gone four matches unbeaten in this final stretch. They will now face the last two games of the season with the peace of mind of knowing they will remain in the division next year.
Meanwhile, the Women’s First Team remains unstoppable. Another dominant win, this time 6–0 against Matadepera, with great goals and performances. They are already champions, but the team aims to finish the phase with a perfect record and keep proving their level until the very end.

At club level, it has been a very complete weekend. In Second Women’s Division, the match between the two Catalònia teams was played in a festive atmosphere and ended with a shared third half watching the first team match together. A great way to close this phase, which will continue on May 9.
In Second Men’s Division, CHC Orange achieved an important victory against Línia in the Federative competition, while CHC Blue narrowly lost. Everything will be decided in the return match.
The Papis also had a great weekend, while the Mamis 7x7 secured a hard-fought 3–5 victory away at Iluro, qualifying directly for the semifinals. A hat-trick from Fer Genta, a penalty corner goal from Laura Formento and a brilliant finish from Laura Linares sealed the win. The Mamis finish third in the league and are now semifinalists.

As a major club highlight, this weekend also saw the fifth edition of the Sant Jordi tournament for mamis and papis. An outstanding day at Pau Negre filled with great hockey, good food, music and an atmosphere that perfectly defines Catalònia. We hope to keep celebrating it for many years.
At academy level, there were also great news. The Boys’ Cadet team achieved an important 2–0 win in a key match, showing the team’s growth and hard work.
The Women’s Junior Team won their match against Atlètic and finish as first in the standings, completing a remarkable season.
The teams continue to grow, compete and prove that the future of the club is in very good hands. It has been one of those weekends that reinforce Catalònia’s identity: to compete, to share and to enjoy the journey.
