A weekend of colour rivalry and big emotions
Recap of the March 7–8 weekend at Catalònia HC with the internal colour derby, a strong women’s first team performance and academy highlights.

The weekend of March 7th and 8th was intense and full of memorable moments for Catalònia HC teams. A weekend with highly competitive matches, some big wins and also internal clashes that always leave great images for the club.
The Men’s First Team narrowly lost at home against Matadepera 88 Hoquei in a match that remained level until the final moments. The team competed until the very end, but small details ultimately made the difference.
In Second Men’s Division one of the most special moments of the weekend took place with the well-known clash of colours. The Blue and Orange teams faced each other in an intense match with a great atmosphere. The game ended with victory for CHC Orange, but above all with a great image of club spirit and a group photo that perfectly captures the essence of this internal rivalry.

The Women’s First Team began the second phase of the league with a convincing win against Línia 22 HC. After being placed in the second group at the end of the previous phase, the team reacted with character and has now achieved seven wins out of seven matches. Although they will not compete for the league title this year, the objective is clear: finish first in the group and continue growing as a team.
The Women’s Second Teams did not have the best start to this phase. CHC Blue lost by the narrowest margin against Barcelona Hockey Club in a very tight match at Pau Negre. The result keeps the tie completely open ahead of the return match.
CHC Orange, facing a very strong opponent such as AD Rimas, also lost the first game, but will still have the opportunity to turn the tie around away from home.
The Women’s Junior Team continues to show the excellent form they are in this season and secured another victory that keeps them at the top of the standings. Catalònia’s players are enjoying a remarkable season.

At academy level, the weekend also delivered several strong performances. The Girls’ Cadet team achieved a clear 11–0 victory against Athletic Terrassa C, allowing them to remain co-leaders of their group.
The Girls’ U14 team narrowly lost against CD Terrassa in a match decided by small mistakes, while the Girls’ U12 team secured another away win, continuing their excellent season.
Among the highlights of the weekend was the match of the +50 Mamis, with a special mention for Linares, who returned to the pitch after a year out due to injury and scored in her comeback. A moment widely celebrated by the whole team.
It was a weekend full of emotions, internal rivalries and moments that truly build the club. Catalònia continues to move forward with teams that compete, grow and strengthen the sense of family week after week.
