The Women’s Junior team moves to the top in a demanding weekend
Recap of the February 27th–March 1st, 2026 weekend at Catalònia HC, highlighted by the Women’s Junior team moving to the top and a strong Cadet Girls’ victory.

The weekend from February 27th to March 1st has been intense and demanding for Catalònia HC’s teams. A weekend with strong opponents and very competitive matches, but with one clear headline: the Women’s Junior team.
The Women’s Junior team delivered a strong home performance against Sitges Hockey Club, securing a 4–0 victory and moving to the top of the standings with 16 points. The team continues to show solidity, consistency and a clear identity in this decisive stage of the season.
At senior level, the weekend brought mixed results. The Women’s First Team narrowly lost away at Vallès Esportiu in a very tight match, but remain in third place. The Men’s First Team also competed until the final whistle away at Club Egara, but were unable to take points in a highly demanding encounter.
In Second Men’s Division, the Second Orange team experienced two very different moments: on Friday they secured an emphatic 5–0 win against Sarrià HC, showing sharpness and attacking efficiency, while on Sunday they were unable to repeat that performance against Egara 1935 B. Even so, the team remains in a stable position in the standings.

At youth level, the Girls’ Cadet team once again demonstrated their strong form. A hard-earned 1–2 away victory against CD Terrassa allows them to continue climbing the standings. The team keeps showing character, defensive solidity and competitive maturity week after week.
The Boys’ Cadet team faced a very strong opponent and experienced a difficult match, but continue working steadily in their development process. The Boys’ U12 team were unable to take points in their indoor fixture, while the Mamis 9x9 competed in a tight contest that keeps them in fifth place with 14 points.
It has been a demanding weekend, with high-level opponents and intense moments throughout. The club continues to compete across all categories, with teams that grow, adapt and look ahead confidently in this decisive stretch of the season.
