A different weekend marked by the Munich Supercup

This weekend was special and different. Due to the Munich Supercup 2026, senior leagues were paused to make room for this annual event organised by the Catalan Hockey Federation, a weekend where competition goes hand in hand with togetherness and shared experiences.
The Men’s First Team took advantage of the break to play a friendly match against a Dutch team. A game that served to keep building rhythm and ended with a shared barbecue, showing that what happens off the pitch also builds team spirit and strengthens the group.
The Papis, meanwhile, played a friendly match against the Second Women’s Team (Blue). The game ended with a very special third half, the kind that truly makes club. They were also supported by some players from the Second Men’s Team, a clear example of community, support and great atmosphere.
As for the rest of the competitions, the weekend brought intense and highly competitive matches. The Women’s Junior Team achieved a very valuable win away against Junior FC D in the Catalan Indoor Championship. A hard-fought victory in which the team received great support from the Cadet players, who gave everything to secure this win together, a result that says a lot about the current spirit of the group.
The Women’s Cadet Team also claimed a solid victory against FC Barcelona, showing consistency and continuity in their good form. In other categories, results did not go our way, but the Men’s Cadet Team, the Girls’ U14 Team and the Benjamí all competed in demanding matches that are part of the growth process.
In Hockey+, the team played their Munich Supercup match, gaining experience in a very special competitive context. A weekend that, beyond the scores, reinforces the sense of belonging, the connection between teams and the idea that Catalònia is much more than just competition.
