An intense weekend with character, goals and a great comeback

The weekend from January 30th to February 2nd was intense, demanding and full of emotions.

Regarding the first teams, the Men’s First Team lacked sharpness in front of goal and ended up paying a high price on the field of Línia 22 HC, a direct rival. A match in which chances were not converted into goals and that leaves a key clash in two weeks’ time, a vital duel to continue fighting for the objectives of the season.

The Women’s First Team, on the other hand, showed solidity and maturity in a very difficult match on Sunday, securing a great 5–1 victory against Club Egara. A result of great merit that keeps them in second position in Group 1 of the First Catalan Division, with only three matches left to complete the group stage.

In Second Men’s Division, the Second Orange team prevailed on the field of Castelldefels HC in a very solid performance, with the debut of two new papis under the guidance of Joaquín. The Second Blue team, meanwhile, was unable to overcome a tough Línia 22 HC Ciutat de Terrassa.

The weekend from January 30th to February 2nd was intense, demanding and full of emotions.

In Second Women’s Division, the Second Blue team delivered a match to remember, defeating Castelldefels HC 8–0 in a game where goals were essential. With this result, if they manage to win their next match against Rimas in Terrassa, they will reach the playoffs as group runners-up, a position they currently hold.

The Second Orange team fell against Matadepera 88 Hoquei Blanc, but remain in fourth position, a place that also grants access to the playoffs.

The Women’s Junior team is competing in the Catalan Indoor Championship and produced a spectacular comeback. They were trailing 4–2 at the end of the third quarter and were able to turn the match around in the final quarter to claim a 4–5 victory. A clear demonstration of character, personality and confidence from the players coached by William Enos.

In Second Women’s Division, the Second Blue team delivered a match to remember, defeating Castelldefels HC 8–0 in a game where goals were essential. With this result, if they manage to win their next match against Rimas in Terrassa, they will reach the playoffs as group runners-up, a position they currently hold.

At academy level, the weekend leaves many reasons to be satisfied. The Girls’ U12 team competed with confidence away from home and continues to show a very high level this season. The win by the Girls’ U14 team at Pau Negre against Iluro HC was very important and reinforces the team’s confidence.

The Boys’ U12 team enjoyed a real goal fest against Futbol Club Barcelona Grana, in a very complete performance that reflects the strong work being carried out at grassroots level.

This weekend once again shows that the club competes at all levels, with teams that grow, learn and continue to build a Catalònia family that becomes stronger every day.

At academy level, the weekend leaves many reasons to be satisfied. The Girls’ U12 team competed with confidence away from home and continues to show a very high level this season. The win by the Girls’ U14 team at Pau Negre against Iluro HC was very important and reinforces the team’s confidence.
