The last hockey weekend of 2025
End-of-year recap for 2025: Girls’ Cadet indoor champions, sporting and social balance, and a year of growth for the entire Catalònia HC family.
This was the final hockey weekend of the year. A special weekend of closure, reflection and celebration. The Second Men’s teams played, the Papis competed, the Mamis +50 represented the club away from home… and above all, the Girls’ Cadet team were crowned indoor league champions, putting the perfect finishing touch to the sporting year.
The Girls’ Cadet team lifted the indoor league trophy after winning the final against Sant Andreu. A well-deserved reward for an excellent season, full of hard work, commitment and collective growth. The Boys’ Cadet team, meanwhile, narrowly missed out on a medal in the third-place match, but this in no way diminishes the great indoor league campaign they have completed, showing competitiveness and constant development.
From a competitive point of view, the Papis were unable to take points on the always difficult field of Club Egara, and it will be time to recharge in January to return to the winning path. The Mamis +50 represented Catalònia in Castelldefels with a great 1–3 victory. The Girls’ Junior team also secured a convincing 5–1 away win, closing out a strong year with clear upward momentum.
With this weekend, we close a year of growth at every level of the club: in the academy, the senior teams, the Papis, the Mamis and also Hockey+, a project that continues to consolidate and prove that hockey truly is for everyone. In 2025 we surpassed 300 federated licences, one of the club’s key objectives and a milestone that reflects the healthy and expansive moment the club is experiencing.
It has also been a year of progress at a structural and technological level, with the launch of the club’s new website and a clear commitment to improving communication, organisation and the way we explain who we are.
These days, the Christmas technical training programme is also taking place, a space for learning and development for the club’s boys and girls that helps them continue to grow, train and enjoy hockey outside of competition.
We close 2025 with hope, love and family… and with an indoor league trophy under our arm. Hold on tight, because 2026 is coming with great strength, new challenges, big moments and a Catalònia family that grows bigger every day.
