The first women's team faced the league leaders, who started strong with a 2-0 lead. However, our players showed great fighting spirit and managed to equalize the match. If the game had lasted a little longer... perhaps we could have completed the comeback! A fantastic performance by Fatima Abdul Mesih, who scored both goals.
The first men's team faced a squad full of stars and narrowly lost 3-2. The team fought until the last second and was very close to securing a draw in a high-level match.
Catalònia’s goals were scored by Maurits Blankevoort in the second quarter and Kipan in the fourth quarter.
The Catalònia HC academy continued gaining valuable match time and experience across all age groups.
The under-14 boys secured a great victory against CD Terrassa Hockey B, showing steady improvement week after week. The under-16 girls delivered an outstanding performance, winning 4-0 against Junior FC D.
In the younger categories, the pre-benjamin teams kept growing and learning in closely contested matches.
The second women's blue team played a very tight match against Vallès Esportiu but couldn’t break the deadlock, finishing with a 0-0 draw. Meanwhile, the second women's orange team had a tough game at Pau Negre against the league leaders, Pedralbes HC, falling 0-2 in a match where they fought until the end.
The moms' team had an exciting weekend. The Catalònia Orange team secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Atlètic Terrassa, while the Catalònia Blue team earned a 2-2 draw against CD Terrassa Hockey, showing their great progress.
The dads' team celebrated an important 2-1 win over Sitges Hockey Club, in a match where they managed the key moments perfectly to take all three points.
