Catalònia HC experienced a weekend full of intensity, with great matches and standout moments across all categories.
The men's first team secured a crucial victory against Atlètic 1952, a direct rival in the battle for qualification. This win gives the team momentum heading into the final stretch of the first phase of the competition. The next match against EHC will be key to continuing their progress. The women's first team suffered a defeat against Junior FC, a rival that has studied us well this season. Despite the loss, the team remains in a strong position, just two points behind the second-place team and in great form.
In the men's second team, the squad performed well in a tough venue but lost narrowly against CH Sant Andreu. Meanwhile, the women's second team (orange) delivered a spectacular performance with a dominant win against the league’s bottom team. Notable performances included four goals from Sofy Tayler, a strong showing from three junior players and two cadets, and another outstanding display from goalkeeper Martina Raso, who now has two consecutive clean sheets. Another highlight of the weekend was the victory of the women's second team (blue), which defeated one of the competition's favorites in an epic match. This result brings them closer to securing a playoff spot and confirms the excellent work being done under the new coach.

The Mamis had an exciting weekend with two highly competitive matches. Catalònia Blue earned a hard-fought draw against Sitges HC Vermell, while Catalònia Orange secured a well-deserved victory against Sitges HC Blau. Beyond the results, the most important aspect is the growth of this category within the club. The enthusiasm, passion, and determination to compete are evident in every match, and more and more players are joining this fantastic group.

The Catalònia HC academy continues to grow, and this weekend our teams gave their all on the field. The girls' cadet team celebrated a fantastic victory after a match where they showcased their talent and teamwork. The boys' cadet team faced a tough opponent and couldn’t come away with a win, but they continue working hard to improve each week. In the youth categories, the girls' U14 team earned a well-fought draw against one of the league's strongest teams, while the boys' U14 team had a challenging match but fought until the final whistle.
The junior teams have started their indoor league with promising performances. A special mention goes to the girls' junior blue team, which has now won two matches out of two, proving their excellent form.
Now it's time to prepare for another weekend full of decisive matches. The men's first team will face a crucial clash against EHC, while the women's second team has a great opportunity to solidify its position in the league. We look forward to seeing everyone supporting our teams!
