First teams in great form and playoffs underway
Weekend recap of April 11–12, 2026 at Catalònia HC, with the women’s team close to the title, the men’s team near safety and playoffs ahead.

The weekend of April 11th and 12th has left a very positive scenario for Catalònia HC’s first teams, who continue taking important steps forward in this decisive stage of the season.
The Men’s First Team secured a very valuable point away at Matadepera 88 Hoquei in a very solid match, marked by a cold Sunday afternoon rain. The team showed character and competitiveness until the very end, with a frantic finish that ended in a draw. The return of Willie Enos, with two goals, was key to keeping the team alive in the most demanding moments. With this result, it is now three matches unbeaten and 7 points from the last 9, placing them very close to mathematical safety with three rounds remaining.
The Women’s First Team remains unstoppable. With another win, they now have a perfect 11 out of 11 in this second phase and are mathematically crowned group champions. Beyond the results, the team is proving on the field the level they truly belong to, consolidating themselves as one of the strongest projects in the club.

In Second Women’s Division, there is great news. Both teams have progressed through their ties and will now face each other for 5th and 6th place, in what will be a new women’s “war of colours”, the first in two years. A reflection of the great moment our players are experiencing and the strong connection within the club. The Orange team achieved it in heroic fashion with a 4–3 aggregate, while the Blue team advanced convincingly with a 4–0 result. The first match will coincide with the club’s Sant Jordi tournament, promising a great day of hockey and atmosphere.
In Second Men’s Division, results were not as favourable this weekend, but both teams now head into the playoffs with ambition. CHC Orange will fight for 5th place and CHC Blue for 9th, in a final stretch that will help consolidate the growth of both teams.
The Papis have also won their tie and will play for 5th place in the championship, remaining competitive in a very demanding league.

At academy level, the weekend has also been demanding. The youth teams lost their indoor matches, but showed attitude and learning against opponents who managed to impose themselves, especially when playing at home.
Even so, the work at grassroots level remains very positive. The teams continue to grow, compete and gain experiences that will be key to their development.
The club now enters an exciting stage of the season, with many teams fighting for their objectives and with the feeling that there are still great moments to come.
