The weekend began with Pau Negre waking up early and ended with the lights dimming and people drifting out, the way you close a good film.
The Women’s First Team put in a calm, clear-headed display against Vallès Esportiu: the aim was to win and, despite the push, we ended up salvaging an important point after the break. Later in the day, the Men’s First Team faced a ruthless opponent in Club Egara and had to fight for every metre to take a draw — another result in a positive streak.
Sunday, like life, was just that: grinding away, sticking to the plan and taking something from the turf that doesn’t show up on the match sheet.

The senior sides left an honest snapshot. In Men’s Second, CHC Blau uncorked their first point of the season in a wild 6–6 that swung area to area — believing to the end also builds a team. CHC Taronja, on the same rung, had a heavy day in Terrassa (7–0) and will turn the lesson into future points. In Women’s Second, Taronja closed a notable first half of the season with a 0–5 at Can Salas, while Blau kept putting body and head against seasoned rivals and fell 3–0 against AD Rimas.
The Mamis tasted two registers: a workmanlike draw at Pla del Bonaire and a difficult morning in Pau Negre’s 7x7. The Papis, without a game, looked down from the top of the table and already have what’s next ringed in red: away to Iluro in Mataró (30/11) and a big autumn date at Pau Negre against Atlètic Terrassa (14/12). They’ll arrive eager to show why they’ve started so well.

In the academy, the weekend tasted of promotions and finals. Infantil Girls won their Copa Federació group and move up to League B — a reward for weeks of good training. Infantil Boys, despite a narrow loss to Polo, also climb to League B — maturity and belief that the roadmap is right. Aleví Boys, with a last-gasp win in Terrassa, booked a place in the semi-finals with the sense of a team that has grown along the way.
Meanwhile, Cadet Girls keep posting wide wins with the calm of a side that knows where it’s going; Cadet Boys went toe-to-toe with CD Terrassa in a brave, open contest; Benjamí won with a strong second half; and Juvenil Girls drew at Pau Negre in a game with much of what we want to see: tempo, intent and club pride.
The academy, ultimately, looks healthy: more minutes, firmer foundations and a Catalònia identity you can recognise in every team.
