Weekend recap from March 15-17 for Catalònia Hoquei Club
The men's first team secured a last-minute 2-3 victory against Club Egara in a thrilling finish. In the final play of the match, the opponent scored, but the goal was disallowed due to a foot violation. An intense ending that could have changed the result, but ultimately, the team earned three crucial points in the fight for survival.
The women's first team played to a 0-0 draw in a closely contested match in Matadepera, securing an important point against a direct rival. The team also benefited from the reinforcement of two cadet players, Emma Tiscornia and Paula Canals, as well as reserve team player Maria Parma, who brought energy and talent to the squad.
The women's U19 team showcased their quality with a strong 2-5 victory against ATHC C, dominating from the very first minute.
Additionally, the U16 Girls’ team achieved an outstanding 0-8 victory against Junior FC D, while the U16 Boys’ team faced a strong opponent in Club Egara Blanc.
The U14 Boys’ team continued their strong form with a 5-0 win against FC Barcelona Grana. Meanwhile, the U14 Girls' team fought hard for a 1-1 draw against Matadepera 88 Hoquei in a highly competitive match.
The Catalònia HC Mamis also had a fantastic weekend: Catalònia Blau secured a 0-3 win against Sitges HC Blau, while Catalònia Taronja earned a 0-0 draw against RC Polo 7x7.
The youngest players continued gaining valuable minutes and experience, with exciting matches from the U10 and U8 teams, further strengthening their development and growth.
