A kit that reminds us where we come from

Catalònia HC presents its new kit designed by Munich. A shirt full of history, identity and a clear view of the future.

Every club has a story. Ours begins in 2004, during a summer marked by excitement, hard work, and a decision that still defines us today: the colour orange. Catalònia Hoquei Club was born thanks to a group of families and a passionate hockey teacher who, during a trip to the Netherlands, decided to found their own club. Orange, the national colour of the Netherlands, has been with us from day one as a symbol of origin, energy, and community.

Those first players came mostly from the Sant Gregori school, and from there we adopted the blue that still forms part of our identity. Over the years, these colours have become much more than just a palette—they represent a shared story. This season, the club takes a step forward with a new kit that honours that legacy while opening a new chapter of growth.

We are proud to partner with **Munich**, a brand founded in 1939 in Sant Boi de Llobregat and internationally recognised for its iconic X logo. A pioneer in technical sports footwear—especially in futsal, handball, and hockey—Munich has successfully combined performance with a contemporary, urban style. Today, the company produces over 850,000 pairs of shoes annually and has a presence in more than 85 countries.

The new shirt, designed by Lucas González, also incorporates the club’s refreshed visual identity: a step towards modernisation, growing our community, and continuing to build an educational, athletic, and inclusive project. On the right sleeve, we proudly display the logo of Copersa, thanks to the active support of Peter Copestake—one of our hockey dads and a dedicated collaborator this season.

This new kit is more than a uniform change: it’s a statement of intent. A tribute to our roots, a gesture towards our people, and a determined step into the future of Catalònia HC.
